RBI Guidelines on Enhancing Card security – Reloadable Prepaid Cards

Dear Customer,
As per RBI directions for enhancing security on Reloadable Prepaid card transactions, all Reloadable Prepaid card holders shall now have the facility to control the transaction channels on their card (enable/disable) and set custom limit for each of the channels within the overall limit assigned to the card. The different transaction channels available on Reloadable Prepaid cards are as below:

Channel	Usage Type
ATM Withdrawal	Domestic (Within India)
Purchase at PoS Terminals
Online/eCommerce Purchase

In compliance to RBI directions, Reloadable Prepaid Card with e Commerce transaction channel which has not been used in the last one year shall be disabled with effect from 30.09.2020 and the same can be enabled by the customer any time through Customer portal available in SIB Website under Prepaid Digi/Cash card. Separate limit for each of the Reloadable Prepaid card transaction modes can also be set by the customer through the portal.
